We Started Prevail to Protect Business Owners at the Moment It Matters Most

Helping owners avoid rushed decisions, misaligned outcomes, and missed value.

Why We Do This

I’ve spent over 30 years helping business owners grow, scale, and eventually exit their companies. I’ve seen the good exits, owners who planned ahead, positioned strategically, and walked away with the outcome they deserved.

But I’ve also seen the preventable disasters. The owner who had a heart attack at 58 and whose business was liquidated within months. The manufacturer whose partner died unexpectedly, forcing a fire sale to pay estate taxes. The service company whose owner “wasn’t ready yet” until a major health diagnosis made the decision for him.

And just as often, I’ve seen owners harmed by poor guidance. Businesses rushed to market before they were ready. Values overstated to win a listing, then negotiated down under pressure. Buyers introduced without proper vetting, exposing employees, customers, and reputations to unnecessary risk.

In every case, the same thought haunted me: This didn’t have to happen this way.

Prevail exists to make sure your story ends differently. We help business owners prepare the right way, understand what their business is truly worth, and navigate one of life’s biggest transitions with strategy, care, and integrity.

What Drives Us

3

Client-First Always

Your goals, timeline, and priorities drive every decision we make. We don't push transactions; we partner with you to achieve the outcome you deserve.

5

Relationships Over Transactions

We measure success by the quality of outcomes, not the quantity of deals. That's why we take on fewer clients and provide more attention, because your success is our reputation.

6

100% Transparency

No surprises, no hidden agendas. We tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. Our fee structure aligns with your success, and we're upfront about timelines, challenges, and realistic expectations.

4

Excellence in Execution

Strategy without execution is worthless. We manage every detail from preparation through closing with precision and care, because nothing should be left to chance when this much is at stake.

We’re not a traditional business brokerage, by design.

We approach every engagement with the understanding that no two business owners, or businesses, are alike. Rather than pushing transactions forward on a fixed timeline, we take the time to understand what matters most to each owner and tailor our strategy accordingly.

Our focus isn’t just on closing a deal. It’s on delivering a thoughtful outcome that aligns with your goals, protects what you’ve built, and positions you well for what comes next.
